I believe that one of the most important part of a music career is the journey. Not just the path you use to get where you are, but the things you've endured and overcome, are what make the difference. My Journey in music began in church. Drumming and leading songs in the youth choir both vocally as well as on piano. I could always just play. I am a self taught musician who plays by ear. As a Junior in high school, on the varsity football team a simple swing pass would change the course of my life forever. I suffered a severe concussion all but ending my hopes and dreams of playing football in college and beyond. I had a great team of doctors at the Rocky Mountain Youth Concussion clinic in Colorado who were dedicated to my recovery. During treatments and rehab for the brain, I began learning piano classically. Playing the piano uses both sides of your brain, thus helping to reconstruct my natural brain function and cognition. Upon my harsh realization that my football career was over, I turned my eye to music and attended the Institute of Production and Recording In Minneapolis, Minnesota. After a few semesters there, I left for a new experience and transferred to The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. There a professor gave me a piece of advice that pushed me to leave San Francisco and go to New York for the hopes of getting a job in the music industry. "You're never ready, but you go when you're ready enough." - Raj Ramaya. With the help of my older brother, we constructed the resume that would land me an internship with the prestigious Cutting Room Studios in SoHo New York. There I learned the ins and outs of the studio world as well as got my hands on a ton of great projects. In the midst of all this, I met Johnny Shapiro who would later sign me to Cinematic Music Group where I have accumulated more than 70 plus records and 4 RIAA certifications. (3 Gold, 1 Platinum). My personal journey is what allowed me to explore other styles of music, aiding me in the development of the sound I present to you today.
